Art consultant, Anna Groden, once again accompanied me to the Archibald at AGNSW and recorded this conversation. Archibald 2020 comes in the wake of last summer’s bushfires, COVID 19, Black Lives Matter and Me Too. We expected to see these issues selected in the judging and of course, they were. But is it necessarily a bad thing?
