The Goldner String Quartet are an Australian string quartet consisting of Dene Olding, (violin), Dimity Hall (violin), Irina Morozova (viola) and Julian Smiles (cello). After their 1997 debut at London, they soon were critically acclaimed, and were being invited to many prestigious festivals around the world. They have even received an ARIA Music Award nomination for one of their albums.
After 30 years together, they have announced that 2024 would be their last concert season as a quartet, and their final farewell concert is happening this Sunday, December 8 2024, at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium.
