Arts Thursday with Maisy Stapleton on 11 January brings you a conversation with Lex Marinos, one of Australia’s best-known actors, as well as broadcaster, director, writer and arts advocate.
Lex has just written The Jobbing Actor: Rules of Engagement, about the work and life of a professional actor, for the Platform Papers series, published by Currency House.
It’s essential reading for every aspiring actor!
The program also includes an interview with Paul Dwyer, one of the collaborative team who developed Tribunal – a performance merging personal histories with the spirit of a legal tribunal – the yet to be created Australian Truth and Reconciliation Tribunal.
The performance is presented at Carriageworks by Fairfield PYT as part of the Sydney Festival from 17 – 21 January.
