Formed in 2013, Mildlife are a Melbourne-based jazz fusion group. Their first live album “Live from South Channel Island” was actually recorded during their one-off livestream performance at South Channel Island on 10 March 2021.

The album stands as a testament to their musical prowess, capturing the energy and spontaneity of their on-stage magic. Released to critical acclaim, the album showcases their ability to seamlessly fuse genres while maintaining an infectious groove that keeps audiences captivated.

Known for their improvisational skills and tight musicianship, Mildlife has earned a dedicated following both locally and internationally, winning ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album in 2021.

 

Water Made Us – Jamila Woods (USA)

Water Made Us is the third studio album by renowned Chicago bred singer-songwriter and poet Jamila Woods. It was released on October 13, 2023, through Jagjaguwar. Woods has already made hugh waves in the both the music and writing industry with her soulful voice and poignant lyricism. With her previous albums earning critical acclaim, including her debut “HEAVN” and the follow-up “LEGACY! LEGACY!”, Woods has established herself as a powerful voice in contemporary R&B and neo-soul.
