This week marks the return of brand new episodes of Arts Wednesdays – no more repeats!
We start at 10:40 am with a brand new series by music historian, Andy Bromberger and this series looks at the Baroque. In Episode 1, Andy sets the scene by taking us back to the Renaissance, so we can see how different the Baroque was.
My special guest at 11:00 am is Dr Peter Sheridan guru of all things Art Deco. He has just published Art Deco and Modernist Walks in Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay, a small 1 kilometre square area with dozens of wonderful buildings.
Music starts with very modern versions of the Baroque and Renaissance and and 1920s and 30s music for the rest. Peter’s request is “lots of Gershwin.”
I look forward to your company!
