At 10:40 am, we hear Part 6, the final episode of Birds and Bones with Dr Jacqueline Nguyen, ornithologist from the Australian Museum and Jacqui finishes the series with Naming Fossils. The entire series will be podcast soon after the program ends, so you can listen again or catch up on the episodes you missed.
My special guest at 11:00 am is acclaimed author, Diane Armstrong, talking about her latest book, The Collaborator. It is an historical novel, based on true life events. In 1944 in Hungary, Adolf Eichmann organised a train to take 1600 Jews out of Hungary to safety in Switzerland. However, the ramifications for Rudolf Kastner, the Jewish journalist and lawyer who organised it, could not have ever been predicted. Diane takes these events and weaves a story that moves between Australia, Hungary and Israel.
Music comes from those three countries.
I look forward to your company!
