In the first half hour, Jacqui Newling joins us for Part 5 of Eat Your History and this week’s topic is jelly.
My special guest at 11:00 am is Dry Carole Cusack, medieval historian and Professor of Religious Studies at Sydney University. Our topic is King Henry VI of England, who was crowned in November 1429 as a young boy. By all, accounts, a lovely man, just not meant to rule and in a time when crowns were not as secure as today.
Music is mostly 15th century but we do need some relief!
Do join me.
