In the first half hour, we continue with Part 4 of Eat Your History with Dr Jacqui Newling and this week the topic is oysters.
My special guest at 11:00 am is Dr Carole Cusack, Professor of Religious Studies at Sydney University and our conversation is about Halloween. This was never celebrated when I was growing up in Sydney and I presumed it was an American custom, infiltrated via television. What a surprise to discover it is a 2,000 year-old custom of the Druids!
There will be a little bit of music about oysters but mostly it’s Halloween.
Do join me.
