BANDALUZIA was recently awarded “The Pick Of the Sydney Fringe” at The Sydney Fringe Festival and performed to a sold out Sydney Opera House Concert Hall as an invited artist to TEDX Sydney 2014. BANDALUZIA has headlined The International Gypsy Music Festival, Sydney, The Global Carnival and is on Musica Viva’s national touring program.
Known for their powerful performances, unique sound and explosive displays of dazzling musicianship and virtuosity that has made BANDALUZIA a great success at festivals and theatres across Australia and return to the Sydney Fringe Festival this September alongside Paco Lara.

Embodying the unmistakeable Jerez style of flamenco guitar playing, PACO LARA presents the flamenco guitar in all it’s authenticity, culture and artistry. Apart from his skill as a formidable soloist Paco is also revered for his ability as an acompaniest in the specialised world of flamenco singing (cante) and (dance), where he has performed with Flamenco’s most significant artists including Beni de Cádiz, Juan Moneo “El Torta”, Miguel Flores “El Capullo de Jerez”, Tomasa Guerrero “La Macanita”, Mercedes Ruiz, participating in prestigious festival programs including Bienal de Sevilla (Spain), Casa de la Música, Moscow (Russia) etc…
Featuring Dance Australia Magazine’s “Most Outstanding Dancer of 2013” and co- winner of “Best Dance Show” at The Adelaide Fringe 2014 JESSICA STATHAM (flamenco dance), ROSALIE COCCHIARO (flamenco dance) who, living in Madrid for 10 years, has performed in many of Madrid’s most premier Tablaos (flamenco venues), including Cafe de Chinitas and Torres Bermejas, brilliant percussionist JAMES HAUPTMANN (James Morrison, Vince Jones, Bluejuice…etc) & violinist YUHKII MAYNE (Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Opera and Opera Australia Orchestra).
