Award-winning theatre veteran, Chrissie Shaw, joined Dr Margaux Dombkins on Arts talking about her latest show, Bijou – “a cabaret of secrets and seduction” that is set in a café bar in Paris 1933. This funny, poignant and dark cabaret, spins a musical tale as it peeps into the private, sensual world of a riveting Parisienne d’un certain age. Award-winning musician, Alan Hicks, stars as Bijou’s long-suffering bar pianist. Together they present a cabaret-style romp through the colourful life and times of Bijou.
