Alongside this he is a Record Producer, Sound Engineer, Song Writer and Performing Artist. He has had songs released by artists the likes of D.I.G (Directions In Groove) (AUS) & The Wu Tang Clan (USA). He has also done remixes for E40, Juicy J, Ty Dolla $ign, Styles P, Xzibit, B-Real, Takuya Kuroda, Hopsin, Jessi Malay, Umphrey’s McGee & Foster The People.
Jazz singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist Sally London’s music is regularly aired across community radio in Australia, the USA and Canada. Her original songs have been featured on the Qantas in-flight Radio playlist, various compilation albums released in Australia and two of her singles were ranked number 2 and 5 on the Indie Singles charts in the USA and Canada. Sally has released 3 studio albums. Her version of “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” was released by EMI in Europe on a jazz compilation album alongside Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, Eartha Kitt, Nancy Wilson and Dean Martin. The song charted on the Greece Jazz Music Chart.
Sally has been steadily making her mark as a songwriter with finalist placements and awards in the Great American Song Contest, the Music Oz Australian Independent Music Awards, the International Song Of The Year contest and the Australian Songwriting Competition.
Soul revivalists, Soul Messengers, are back in 2017 with a new album. Both of their studio albums, 2013’s ‘I’m Alive’, and 2015’s ‘Dirty Soul’ garnered great reviews and nationwide radio play, with ‘Dirty Soul’ reaching #12 on the Australian Blues and Roots chart and featuring as Sydney Jazz and Blues radio station Eastside Radio’s album of the week.
Soul Messengers present a dynamite live show honed at regular gigs in Sydney and surrounds, the band having played over 85 shows since 2014 at venues such as Marrickville’s Lazybones, Newtown’s Leadbelly and Sydney’s The Basement. In addition to performing regular shows Soul Messengers have been added to the Double Bay Street Festival and The Northern Beaches Music Festival in multiple consecutive years. Add in past residencies at Enmore’s Vic on the Park, Marrickville’s Gasoline Pony and Newtown’s Botany View Hotel and you have one of Sydney’s most booked originals bands.
