Two of the biggest names in Australian jazz join forces to present an incredible celebration of Australian music.
Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra (JMO) has gained a reputation as one of the world’s most exciting and innovative independent jazz orchestras. The Sydney-based ‘Mothership’ delivers an exciting program promoting new Australian music played by cutting edge musicians in collaboration with one of the world’s leading arrangers.
Celebrated jazz guitarist James Muller teams up with JMO for an evening of entirely original contemporary works composed and performed by Muller whose distinctive sound, coupled with masterful improvisation and breathtaking virtuosity, has made him one of the most respected and significant young musicians in the country.
Arranged for the band by the German pianist and composer Florian Ross, this is music of a breathtaking variety and diversity – simply dazzling. The In-flight Bar and Diner opens at 6pm serving delicious snacks and a selection of wines and beers.
