Starring Catherine Alcorn
With Special guests:
Jason Arrow (Hamilton), iOTA (Mad Max: Fury Road), Jacqui Dark (Anna Karenina)
and resident Goddess of the Socials Verushka Darling
Featuring an all-female band led by Musical Director Anne-Maree MacDonald
With $1.4 million raised for Australian musicians and Arts sector workers in 2020, Melbourne Digital Concert Hall (MDCH) brings their digital live-streaming platform to Sydney in support of NSW Government’s recent COVID restrictions. 100% of ticket sales goes directly to the artists, supporting them in their greatest time of need.
Streamed live to the world from Chatswood’s The Concourse Chatswood this Friday, 16th July, funny diva CATHERINE ALCORN will perform an exhilarating live concert with a few special guests from the Theatre, Film and Opera world popping by.
Alcorn is an award-winning artist and no stranger to live-streaming having conceived and delivered The Reservoir Room during Australia’s first lockdown of 2020. She will be ably assisted by drag royalty, VERUSHKA DARLING for a little (big) touch of extra glam, comedy and, of course, sisterhood.
Joining Catherine on stage are Sydney artists who have been immediately impacted by the lockdown and face months ahead with no income.
Star of Hamilton, JASON ARROW will make his first appearance on stage after being stood down without pay by the multi-million dollar production when the Sydney Lyrics closed its doors on June 25.
Helpmann and Green Room Award winner and Mezzo Soprano, JACQUI DARK, whose most recent Covid-cancellation was Anna Karenina for The Australian Ballet on the day before they were due to open will dazzle when she treads the Concourse boards to perform genre defying classic/contemporary mashups.
Australian music icon, Helpmann Award winner and screen god iOTA (Mad Max: Fury Road, Smoke and Mirrors) completes the stellar line-up.

ABOUT MELBOURNE DIGITAL CONCERT HALL:
Melbourne Digital Concert Hall (MDCH) was created by musicians, for musicians. We connect Australian artists and communities everywhere through music and technology.
Launched on 27 March 2020, we presented 233 live concerts in our first nine months, generating $1,000,000 in income for musicians and arts sector workers who’d lost everything through COVID-19
The concept is straightforward. You purchase a ticket to enjoy a high-quality live-streamed concert; we pass on the full ticket price to the artists, with a modest booking fee keeping the cameras rolling.
Chris Howlett and Adele Schonhardt lead this social enterprise, combining their artistic and management skills. They’d like to thank the many incredible supporters who’ve made MDCH possible.
