Close your eyes and picture your favorite beach. What does the sand look like? What’s the colour of the sea? If you have a condition called aphantasia you might not be able to answer these questions or even picture the beach. People with aphantasia are blind in their mind’s eye. Our guest in this episode studies this curious condition and talks about how it can affect every day life.
Tim and Cat chat with aphantasia expert Dr Rebecca Keogh, a cognitive neuroscientist and postdoctoral researcher at Macquarie University in Sydney.
