Valentine’s Day poetry program in February 2024
Vessels of Love (VOL) is an annual poetry program presented by Poetry Sydney that seeks to explore ideas and forms of love over Valentine’s Day week. The first edition was part of the City of Sydney’s series of activations to attract people back to the Central Business District following the pandemic in 2021. This year, The Salons: Love in transmission is the fourth VOL project that offers an entry point into poetry of impermanence, of taut lines and tensile forces.
The Salons directors are Angie Contini, Joan Gillison and Penny Daw. The participating poets for Love in transmission: Albert Lin, Ali Whitelock, Gillian Swain, Luke Patterson, Magdalena Ball, Paris Rosemont and Richard James Allen.
