“A Social Call” from Jazzmeia Horn is Eastside Radio’s Album Of The Week. Jazzmeia is a jazz vocalist from Dallas, Texas, who was encouraged onto the mic by her music family. Inspired by Sarah Vaughan at a young age, Jazzmeia went on to study jazz at the high school and tertiary level. Her prowess eventually won her the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Competition AND the Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition.
I’ll let Jazzmeia tell you more herself:
“A Social Call” was produced by Chris Dunn and features the following musicians: Victor Gould on piano, Ben Williams on bass, Jerome Jennings on drums and percussion, Stacy Dillard on tenor saxophone, Josh Evans on trumpet, and Frank Lacy on trombone.
