FANFORCE TV PRESENTS THE 2020 VIRTUAL INDIGENOUS FILM FESTIVAL
FANFORCE TV, the new community-based streaming platform presents the first Virtual Indigenous Film Festival from the 27th of May till the 2nd of June as part of National Reconciliation Week 2020. The Festival will present some of the most powerful Indigenous films alongside Q&A discussions and audience participation via Live Chat – all live-streamed to accommodate COVID-19 social distancing rules.
FANFORCE TV is showcasing eight virtual events including film screenings of IN MY BLOOD IT RUNS, THE AUSTRALIAN DREAM, GURRUMUL, UNDERMINED, NAMATJIRA PROJECT and ZACH’S CEREMONY.
There is also an exciting lineup of guest speakers and expert panelists involved throughout the week including Paul Williams (Director ofGurrumul), Nic Wrathall (Director of Undermined), Zach and Alec Doomadgee (Zach’s Ceremony), Elke Smirl (Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place), with Indigenous Literacy Foundation, Reconciliation SA and Mallee District Aboriginal Services partnering as guest speakers. FANFORCE TV uniquely enables audiences from all over the country to ask questions and discuss topics in real time with the guest speakers and community leaders via live chat and live streaming features.

This is what Reconciliation Week is about.”
